Debbie Eaton has been teaching needlework for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the Elsa William's and Erica Wilson Schools of Needlework. Her work has won awards and has been exhibited in many venues, including on the White House Christmas tree.
Debbie has designed several fabric lines for Timeless Treasure Fabrics in New York City.
She is also the owner of the Quilted Lady Slipper which produces needlework and applique patterns.
In the summer of 2002 Debbie opened up her studio in Groton, MA. In addition to having more space for her design business, she now teaches all of her adult education classes and workshops at this location. Guild classes are often taught there as well. Her studio was also the "home base" for the Blooming Applique Society when it first started. She started this chapter of The Applique Society so that other applique enthusiasts would have a place to gather and to share their common love of applique!
UPDATE: Debbie has retired from every day teaching/traveling and spends her time enjoying her family and friends while creating new designs for you to enjoy! All of her designs as well as other needle artists can be seen by clicking on the store button to your left.
She has one last teaching engagement at the Elly Sienkiewicz Applique Academy in Williamsburg, Virginia in February of 2010! Click on the Link button to your left for more information on the Applique Academy.
